Project Cobbitty

The brief on this property was to highlight the key factors of the house style both in and out. The natural lay of the land was to be used to its best and minimise layering and retaining where possible. The style of the landscape works was to be of a modern take with rustic elements such as concrete and raw finish steel edging and let rust, contrasting floor finishes with a cobblestone like finish to highlight the concrete elements and timber to soften. Plant choice was modern coastal ensuring the plants would not take away from the house but compliment and soften hard edges and corners. The final brief was to capitulate the large Morton Bay Ficus tree within the rear of the property and make it a stand out feature within the landscaping.
